אמדאוס הינו הכנון ראשון ומקורי של קו הפטיפונים העכשווי של well tempered.
כולל את תכונות הזרוע החדשנית שנודעה בכינויה "זרוע כדור הגולף". גם בגרסת MKII נעשה שימוש בבסיס כפול הבנוי מMDF ופלטה אקרילית אולם הפטיפון מצויד בזרוע משופרת מסוג Symmetrex שפותחה לאחרונה.
